Do not use sealants of any type with gaskets. The sealant burns out rapidly leaving a gap which creates an exhaust leak. my 2001 Ram 360 block or the headers are not flat. The original exhaust gaskets leaked passenger bank, center. These gaskets seal great. The only issue is they are fragile before installed. I tried to bend them a little and happily bought a new set.

Awesome set of header gaskets! Used these on my 96 Dodge RAM 5.9 as I was dealing with exhaust leaks at the cylinder head. These gaskets took care of the leaks and have not had any problems since then. Will be getting some more Remflex gaskets for my other engine project. They work great!

I had a stubborn exhaust leak on my 69 GTS and could not get the leak to stay fixed. I tried the Remflex gasket without sealer and torqued to 20 ft-lbs as directed. I was exceptionally happy when I reinstalled the manifold and started the car and ran to temperature. The leak was gone and was impressed with how easy it was to install. Definitely worth the few extra dollars.

Bought these because people always hype them up as being the best but after two weeks the left manifold gasket already burned off and was leaking bad. Replaced with the metal one and now I’m just waiting for the other side to blow
