I'll do a summary type review.GREAT FOR: Gigging kits, kits on the go, house kits that require a no-nonsense fast, simple way to get a good bass drum sound. Getting a foundation for 75% of bass drum sounds used. From there you can dampen more, experiment use non ported heads, etc.PROS: Ease of installation, non invasive, no tools required. 3 sizes available, make it very easy to mix and match. Don't have to think about it. As many drummers I have had to deal with the ANNOYANCE of small portholes and 18" deep bass drums which make it so uncomfortable to accommodate blankets or pillows.CONS: Not something you can move and use on one bass drum to another. Take with you to use on other drumsets. And also not something you might want to mess around with too much. The metal hooks certainly don't look designed or durable enough to be something you move and continually mess with.All in all a solid buy. I am using on a 22" sized on the Batter side and am Getting a MUCH MUCH better sound than Evans EQ PADs.

It works well for its intended purpose and doesn't over muffle... Unless you jam it tight up against the head. I love that its adjustable and will hold its position.Shipping took a little while, but that was to be expected, as the shipping time estimate stated such. It beat the estimate though, so the was pretty great as well. Overall, a great item and I might get another
