This was a little bigger than I thought it would be, but after using it, I like the bigger size. It has a nice magnetic feature and chord.

This key is great for changing drum heads. The rubber tip on the top allows you to twirl the key to loosen or tighten the rim screws when changing a drum head. The large size and weight of the key also provide momentum when turning the key. Very useful tool for a drummer.

I set up my son’s first drum set with this Remo key and a ratcheting screwdriver. My son misplaced it, so when I got him silent stroke heads, I bought a Tama key to make the swap. The Tama key looks similar, but was lighter than the Remo, so it won’t spin the lugs with its own inertia like the Remo. The rubber grip knob on top helps spin lugs to finger tight, and the Remo hex top lets you use a power screwdriver or racheting screwdriver to make things go really fast.

This is a must for any drummer and is simply the best drum key I have used in many years. Apart from being able to attach it to an electric screwdriver, which is something that makes changing a head effortless, and something I’ve never had before, it’s so robust and the biggest drum key I’ve ever used. I had some health problems that have badly effected my left side and it’s large ‘ butterfly wing’ allows for turning of the key without dropping it, something that smaller keys have done time and time again, normally rolling under the bass drum! It’s seems strange to get excited about a drum key but this has honestly made my drumming world a whole lot easier, thanks to Remo.

Best drum key ever owned. Large size and weight coupled with rubber grip ring makes fast tuning of drums a doddle. Wish I had got one years ago. Highly recommended.

The rubber nut on the top is great for tightening the screws to finger tight before tightening with the key

This product is a lot easier to use than the average drum key however, I use a roland td 3, and this drum key does not work well with eletric kits - it doesn't fit into the dips around the screws. So it is good for acoustic drums and hardware, but wouldn't recomend for eletric.
