Remote Mount Vent Valve Fit for Fuel Tanks

Rollover vent valves perform two essential functions

Rollover vent valves perform two essential functions.

  1. Used in conjunction with your vent line, a rollover valve will allow your tank to breathe and not build up pressure or vacuum during normal operation.
  2. Prevent gas from running out of your vent line during an accident. When the rollover vent valve is on its side or upside down, a check ball inside the valve will close to prevent gas from running out.

Well it looks great, I installed it correctly but the ball inside the bottom part sticks no matter what position it is in. The vent is up like it should be and the ball inside should move freely until the valve is turned upside down then the ball should close to keep fuel from spilling. The issue that I have is it sticks and causes too much pressure in tank and lines so it kicks open the fuel pressure switch on the carb and won’t start or run correctly. I have to open the fuel cap to release pressure, so I’m going to have to find a different valve. That sucks because I like how this is built
