If you find yourself in need of an inexpensive costume cloak, this is a solid option. It's a lightweight, low pile velvet fabric, good enough for a costume.The clasp hardware is very good and is easy to do one handed.As soon as you try it on, your first though might be, this would be amazing if it had a color satin lining (gold, silver, purple) it would elevate the piece past costume.Overall it's good and will fit most people comfortably. The hood is large so you can be mysterious if you wantA solid choice in the world of costume cloaks.

This is part of an outfit to be worn to a Viking themed wedding later this year. The cloak is beautiful material, has a good weight to it, and is a quality velvet-like fabric! The color is deep and the clasp is detailed and solidly made out of metal and faux leather and will hold up well over time. Review of Gesranxs Renaissance Cloak with Hood Men Women,Medieval Velvet Cape Hobbit Halloween Costume Cosplay Wizard Witch Cloak. This is the PERFECT addition to a ren faire costume! I ordered it to complement my dark blue, corseted maiden dress. The color is lovely and the cape is the right length on me, falling to about my knees, which means I don't have to worry about it dragging on the ground. I especially love the metal clasp, as it has a nice, subtly ornate design and connects securely. It does take a little practice to figure out how to properly unclasp the cloak, but that means it won't easily come off! Overall, I would highly recommend this cloak for anyone seeking to add a little mystery to their costume.

This is a pretty decent cloak for any costume. Got this for my husband for the renaissance fair and he like it. Its pretty thin yet still somewhat warm. It has a nice velvety outside, but didn't love the inside material as it cheapened it a bit! But this really is no big deal for the price point and its not noticeable unless you're REALLY looking at it. I also really like the clasp! Either way it was a great purchase and would probably buy again in a different color for next time.

Come on! For this price?!? You couldn’t even buy just the fabric, let alone the pattern and accents… then consider your time in sewing this level of quality. Great sized cloak with an excellent cowl and an ornate clasp sewn on the ‘leather’ base demonstrates skilled artisan craftsmanship for period accuracy. At 5’6, it reaches just below my calf and drapes my head in a comfortably light weight, richly draping material. With a slight sheen to it, I ordered the red for multi-seasonal use. Happily, it’s more a burgundy hue than a Santa red. But the color changes in various lighting (too cool!). Looking forward to using it on various evil and joyous props as well as wearing it my-elf.

These is an awesome cloak. The hood is fairly deep so you can hide your face rather easy while the size of the cloak allows it to wrap around your body (I'm 6'1 and 230lbs) with almost no issue. I love that the claps looks fancy but is very simple to use while being sewn onto the cloak itself. The material used is sturdy and not thin while it feels soft and almost silky. It is thick enough for you to get warm under the cloak (holds your body heat in) while not feeling very heavy.

This is huge, I love it. I'm pretty tall so getting cloaks that go to my knees is often difficult, this cloak is awesome it's big, easy to put on, and comfortable. My only complaint is the color, the one I got is a very light brown, not near the darkness of the product photo.
