Very nice, looks good on my white toilet (which also has a black seat). It unscrews and the bottom part goes over the bolt end and nut/ wing nut, then you screw the cap down on top. This means you don't get that horrible ring of grime building up like other toilet bolt covers. I will be looking for them in white for the other toilets in my house.

Doesn’t fit any kind of standard bolt sets and had to modify. 30 extra minutes of work for a product that should come in different sizes

Unfortunately it doesn’t fit over standard bolts on toilet. Do not buy if there is a nut on your toilet bolt. It will not fit over that nut. The shape of the hole in these caps is oblong, nut is circle. Do not go together.

I was actually in need of large bolt caps to cover the studs and nuts for a set of auto fog lights that I wanted to mount inverted. It occurred to me that toilet closet bolt covers might work. When I saw the cost of plastic ones, these were a no brainer. They are solid aluminum and caps thread on. Exactly what I needed for durability as they will be mounted to the front of a truck and vulnerable to rocks and such. I know that's not the intended usage, but they worked great and provided an extra level of durability for an automotive application.

These are medal and they thread on. The old ones kept popping off during cleaning. (Not all the time but with any significant bump) these thread on and so far a month later have not come off at all. Aesthetically they are similar to plastic ones. I don’t think I’d buy these just to have them, but if you have issues with the plastic ones coming off or need to replace the originals, it’s worth the extra couple bucks.
