I wonder why this is so big -- pretty much the same size as an old laptop's charger "brick." Nowadays so many power supplies are much smaller (such as USB-C chargers), but this one is chunky. Add the power cord and you have to leave quite a bit of room for it.I have three nowadays, two for ReoLink doorbell cameras and one for an outdoor WiFi access point. But I haven't had any trouble with any of them. Maybe because they're chunky and solid. We may never know.

I’m using this POE adapter to connect a Reolink 811A camera to a router in my house. The router is wired to the PVR. The router is about 20 feet from the PVR and this POE adapter allowed me to connect the camera right to the router and not have to wire it all the way to the PVR.I plugged the camera into the POE adapter and plugged the POE adapter to my router and the camera was recognized right away in my app and on my TV. I set it up in the app and everything is working perfectly.
