1. Crafted product or not, the bottom of my pot melted and required a proper replacement.2. The fit wasn’t perfect, but it was perfect for the pot.3. My “instapot†is a Faberware. Same qt size as the name brand, but I was a little concerned that the base would be slightly different. I was so happy to know that the difference (which I suspect there is on) is very slight.4. SAVE THE PLACEMENT SCREW!5. The replacement piece I received did not come with a placement screw to secure it to the base of the pot, but I had retained the original and there were no issues.I 100% recommend this product as a suitable REPLACEMENT part/piece. :)Thank you :)

It is not worth the price savings compared to the more higher priced ones. It's very evident just exactly WHY they are "cheaper"It shouldn't have been this poor of a quality. They ne er bothered to trim any of the excess plastic left ovef from the molding process I had to use a razor blade to slice off several pieces in the outside if it that kept it from sitting flush.Otherwise it functions right i mean it "fit" but not without probably 15minutes if very slow and methodical slicing and resiting and than shaving more until it finally fit.

I really wanted this to work! As a tired mom I made the (scary!) mistake of turning on the stovetop burner instead of the instant pot. The plastic base melted on my beloved IP but thankfully no wires seemed to be damaged. They do not offer this replacement part on their website so I was ecstatic when I found this. Unfortunately as other reviewers have mentioned, it seems to be the product of a 3D printer and does not align with my IP. I contemplated on drilling a hole in it to make it work but decided not to take that chance and returned it. Will have to look for a second hand one to guarantee the right fit.

This item is not compatible with my instant pot, but I ordered regardless. I made some adjustments to make the screw holes coincide and voila.It fits perfectly.I am very happy with this purchase ðŸ˜

The key differences between this 3D printed replacement and the original is the that1. This 3D printed cover is elongated on one side by few millimeters, which makes it NOT fit inside the dug-in and because of that you can not rotate it to lock in the teeth.2. The rectangualr part that has the screw hole does not have the tab/teeth that goes inside to secure it and it is missaligned.3. Overall the fit and finish is pretty crude and unfinished, the tolerances are out, but I think it was made very thin or with cheap filament or poorly and it warped somehow during the printing.At its current state, it is not recommended, specially for this high price, there are better alternatives elsewhere.
