I got entrapped by certain appliance review site into buying Snapper XD shop vacuum. Welp, less than 2 years later the vacuum is no longer being made or sold. There is no place to get an OEM filter replacement.I measured the dimensions and took a chance on this filter. And am I glad that I did. The filter fits perfectly. What’s more is the filtering is so much better than the original filter. Even with more odorant messes like wet leaves, dead insects, and wood dust cleanup - all pass the smell test.The only problem I found with the filter is the sponge. It’s way too small, as other reviewers have said. I was able to put mine on after about 15 minutes of finessing and ripping one of the sponges (there are 2 in the box). I would plan buying the larger sponge separately next time.Sponge is important for protecting filter from getting wet in my type of vacuum. Hope the filter manufacturer includes at least one sponge the fits OVER the filter.

The filter itself was the correct size for my vac. But the two foam "prefilters" sent with it did not fit. I could not stretch the prefilters over the main filter, try as I might.

Perfect replacement for dry/wet vac model here at home. Big plus on instructions and sizings that can get difficult in this product area.

I was having trouble finding a replacement filter for my old Genie shop vacuum Model SV200Q). You can't tell fit from a picture. I measured the old filter and this filter was the closest I could find. Trying it on the vacuum I discovered the opening was a tad too big which it better than too small. I fixed the problem byrunning a few wraps of electrical tape around the vacuum housing that the filter pushes over. Works like a charm and the new filter greatly increases the vacuum power. John
