If your computer is black screen
- What you need to do is adjust this screw. This is a magnet, and the sleep induction line determines whether it starts sleeping based on the size of the induced magnetic force.
- It can rotate, and usually we adjust this magnet clockwise.
- Turn it all the way clockwise.
- Then install the screen.
- Test.
- If not satisfied, make slight adjustments clockwise or counterclockwise.
- Continue until the screen starts sleeping at an appropriate angle.
- Or wakes up at an appropriate angle.
Here is the solution.
- When you install the screen, if it doesn't work,
- don't immediately assume that there is a problem with the screen. Most of the time, it's because the position of the magnet is not suitable.
- You can determine your rotation direction by looking at the pointer on the magnet.
- Before leaving the factory, we rotate the magnet to what we believe is the correct position based on experience.
- However, We cannot confirm 100%.Therefore, once you learn how to adjust it, you can solve this problem.

Perfect display at a price conducive to DIY replacement. Quality so far is great (has only been one week). Instructions were very clear. Only slight hiccup was that the included tools were missing a Torx T1 bit, which so happened to only be needed for be of the last steps. No biggie. Ordered a set from Amazon with overnight delivery. Outside of that, zero issues and the lid does have the Apple logo so finished product looks 100% OEM. Camera works as well.You must be mechanically inclined and comfortable around very small and fragile components to complete this (or any Apple) repair.Helpful hint - lay down a towel on the table you’re working on so that you can layout the screws and components you’re removing in the exact spatial order that they need to go back to. Also, the towel will save the day when (not if) one of the tiny screws goes flying. The towel will capture it vs it bouncing off the table to be forever lost on the floor or carpet.

I don’t usually do reviews. I bought this to replace the screen on my Mac book air with intention to hopefully find someone that could fix it (since I have the replacement part) for cheaper than the $600 I was quoted before. Once it was delivered, I attempted to replace it by myself to try same some more money. This kid was very organized and straight forward. I have replaced my iPhone screen before but it is much more difficult than the iPhone BUT not impossible! Took me 4 hours but I had no trouble, instructions were very helpful, used every tool and even came with ALL of the pieces you need to replace the screen completely. Very very happy with this purchase. If you’re trying to find a reliable replacement for your laptop, I highly recommend this one.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. There are a few things people need to keep in mind. First, you will strip a screw during the replacement process, so be very careful to use the correct bit (type and size). It's not the fault of the Seller, it's the screws that are the problem. If you are unsure as to size, go bigger rather than smaller, you will be less likely top strip the head. Second, when attaching the cable connection for the replacement screen, make sure that you align everything correctly and that the cable is actually plugged in. Tip - if the bracket covering the screws doe not lie perfectly flat, you haven't made a good connection. Great product, works perfectly!

Had to use youtube to get it installed because instruction manual was not easy to read. Print was blurry. All tools came in to do the install.Other than that, screen works perfect as advertised and now I am back in business. Thank you seller for a great product. Keeping my fingers crossed hoping it will last

Screen assembly was of good quality but the included tool set wasn’t. I had to buy my own tool set to remove the bottom frame in order to get to the hinge screws. However, I was reimbursed for the additional tool with an Amazon gift card so I can’t complain too much. The printed instructions were not good either but you are better off watching a YouTube video on replacing just the screen the screen anyway.

Not all the screwdrivers required were within the package. T2 screwdriver is needed and it wasn't included.
