The length is perfect enough so that I’m not pulling my headset off by accident. The material of the cord is perfect and durable. Connects perfectly into the head set and controller. For the price it is perfect.

Garbage,I purchased 2 and they both have failed miserabley. Now I have to purchase more. And as I live on a disabled income this puts me in a less desirable position as I have to purchase more when I could use this money for food. Thanks for letting me down.

I use the in line mute version for the A40. I think I'm on my fourth or fifth set of these cables in about 3 years.That may sound or read as not a good thing, but it actually is.My house, specifically, my dog, Iroh, is NOT conducive with cables, or wires.... So a few of those were dog induced violent felon acts.Overall the quality is good. I am one of those humans that holds my controller on my well equipped dad belly.... EXACTLY where my headset cable plugs into my headset adapter... And THAT is the only weakspot I have found, in almost all wired headsets. No different here, but that's the way she blows. I still keep coming back to this cable.I recommend for the A40.

the cable received was not braided. So i did not get a supperior cable porduct.I didnt realize that the mic feature only works as you hold the button as the original astro cable is a mute on or off button. It will take getting used to. This does not subtract from the score as they mentioned it everywhere and i was pre-occupied with getting a mic button than a volume wheel.FALSE ADVERTISING RESULTS IN POOR RATING.Ill add another review once i use it more. I hope the seller can reach out and provide the right product to me as listed.

As I've said it's a good replacement wire, but the only thing that doesn't seem to be well built is the audio volume wheel. The wire seems to have a different feel than the stock wire. Got for an Astro A10 headset, and it seems to be working, so far.

I had a cable that lasted for 2 years until it broke. I bought this replacement, work for a few weeks however suddenly the microphone started to cut out and in and I had to move the cable in a right angle for it to work.

got it to replace my old wire when i bent it from accidentally ripping it out of my laptop. still using my old one for as long as i can but when i got this cable i was a little surprised to see the cable was just plastic and not braided like shown in the picture. should work fine as a replacement though.
