Thicker and rounded not the thin flat cheap knock offs. Fills the gap properly. I like it because it does not leak. Put my nice induction pressure pot back in service. Great to have a spare too.

It was a little too small I could not get my pot to open after I was finished cooking so I had to break my cover and now my preasure cooker nolonger works.

I have a Fagor 3L pressure skillet that I found at a thrift store with a gasket that fit perfectly in width but was not high enough to even come close to holding pressure. This was the perfect fit to get it up and cooking again.
