Official Impeller replacement for All Models of Kestrel Environmental Meters
With a replacement impeller on hand, you can be sure your Kestrel is always ready to provide fully accurate wind or air flow measurements. Each impeller is individually calibrated in our NIST traceable wind tunnel to Kestrel specifications. Simply replacing the impeller in any Kestrel meter of any age restores factory calibration. And the best thing? Replacing your impeller is hassle-free and tool-free – just press the new impeller into place, popping out the old one at the same time. That’s a Kestrel patented feature. Field impeller replacement is a breeze, so maintaining Kestrel accuracy is too.
Replacing the impeller is very simple and does not require any tools
1. With your thumbs, push out the old impeller
2. Make sure the small triangle on the impeller is straight up at the 12 o'clock position
3. Push the new impeller in until you feel it snap into place

My old impeller fell apart (4-pieces) when I removed the meter from its case. The instructions included are for Kestrel 1000-3550 and 5000-5700 meters. Following the series 5 instructions, this impeller fit my 4000 just fine. And it works!

My older Kestrel's anemometer wheel separated and one of the vanes got bent somehow (I suspect a teenaged guest on our boat got a little too curious). I ordered this replacement, and after reading the instructions (it has to be lined up per the instructions), was able to replace impeller in a minute or two, and back to full operation.

Easy to install, works perfectly. My original had the tiny bolt fall out of the middle, this is a 10 second fix and the kestrel works perfectly again.
