Appears to made with near OE standards. Slightly larger in outside diameter compared to OE coil. Does not come with male spade terminals or coil wire boot as shown in picture.

Installed this at the end of last season while winterizing Meecruiser 5.0. Started this season, ran great then went on the river. Got about 5 miles down the river and engine died. Would not restart. Had to get towed off the river. Diagnosed at marina as a bad coil. Should have went with factory parts. $400 lesson learned.

A coil is a coil. This is supposed to be the recommended replacement, and works. It has a larger diameter than the original, so I had to expand the clamp which is not easy to get to. It seems well built and it is heavy. It works.
