I purchased this replacement Nikon UC-E6/UC-E16 cable as a backup for my original, and while it works, it doesn’t quite match the quality I expected.Pros: Works as Intended – It successfully transfers photos and charges my camera without any issues.Affordable Price – Much cheaper than the official Nikon cable, making it a budget-friendly option.Lightweight & Flexible – Easy to pack and carry around for travel.Cons:Feels Cheap & Flimsy – The cable is noticeably thinner and less durable than the original. It doesn’t inspire confidence in long-term use.Loose Connection – The fit isn’t as snug as Nikon’s original cable, and I sometimes need to adjust it to maintain a stable connection.Not as Durable – The plastic connectors feel fragile, and I worry they may wear out with frequent use.Final ThoughtsIf you need a quick and affordable replacement, this cable will get the job done. This is exactly the cable prescribed (missing) for our Nikon Coolpix S8200, which has the UC-E6 port, both to charge the battery inside the camera and to transfer pictures and videos. The camera ran out of battery after one full day of an exciting trip and the cable arrived just in time in the evening to charge it right up and transfer everything onto to a laptop/macbook. The only problem is our MacBook only has USB-C ports and we need an additional adapter to plug in the USB-A side of the cable. Not a problem for us but be aware it's USB-A to UC-E6 if that works for you or you may want to get a USB-C to UC-E6 cable instead.

My old cable seemed fine and I thought that I was having issues with my camera. Turns out that the new cord worked perfectly and saved me a lot of money since I didn't have to take my Nikon to a repair shop. Excellent delivery time as well.
