This was not an exact match to my 40 year old Electrolux, but I made a foam spacer to fill the gap. Either my old motor was tired before it died or this one is very noticeably more powerful. On a thick rug I have to push MUCH harder than before the switch. VERY Happy!

The motor draw 1700W and was making the cables warm.The seller never did provide info about power rating for the motor, when having free returns, he charged me almost 50% of motor price for "restocking fee".This is scam.

Upon arrival I found that the plastic for the exhaust outlet was cracked but not completely broken away. There was no package damage and it was packaged well, so this must have happened before the motor was boxed up.Rather than deal with returning, reordering and having to wait to get the central vac going again, I decided to epoxy the cracked plastic. After reassembly it has good suction power, seems to be as good as the original.

The motor was very weak compared to the original. Very disappointed. I wish i had installed it sooner so i could have returned it within the return window.
