I don’t know how it worked without directions but all we did is put battery in. Turned on and off. Volume worked and favorite feature sleep timer that more expensive remotes left off. So worth the $. Would absolutely buy from this company again.

I had to come leave a review here because I could not believe how easy the setup was. I’ve ordered remotes before where you have to scroll through a million codes to maybe find the right one for the TV, but when this arrived it has no instructions. I was super skeptical, but popped in batteries and voila! It just worked! I have no idea how but it was the easiest setup ever. Great purchase.

My TCL TV is possibly older than dirt,. The original remote held up for a nice long time surviving multiple drops, spills, being thrown in the garbage, and who knows what else. What finally took it out? The batteries exploded... After fighting the Roku Remote app on smart phones I caved and bought this amazing new remote. It paired to the TV no problem and has different streaming buttons than the original remote had. Easy to use. Durable. No exploding batteries (yet).

These are so much better than the original LG remote that came with my tv! They respond perfectly and the volume control is just like the original. It came programmed and I didn't have to try to connect anything. Great value and now I have an extra!

I am finding that the buttons tend to stick (using it as my shield remote died). While I’m glad to have something that works, the functionality is a bit lacking. Sometimes I find that I have to extend my arm to point directly at the shield which I never had to do before. Additionally, the remote buttons will sometimes stick and cause the shield to go a bit batty as it catches up.

So far, so good. Easy to program and has all the functions of the original Shield Pro remote. I bought this as a back up for when the stock remote decides to go on vacation. This picks up the slack quite nicely.One programming note - if you use any launcher other than the stock Android one the Shield came with, you will have to disable it to pair this remote. Once you do, you can go back to the launcher of your choice.

I bought a Hisense Smart Google TV and love it and so does my wife. We often watch TV together and need our own controllers. (Trust me, it is just the way it needs to be) I started looking at remotes and found this one and it sounded like a good value. I had some apprehension about setting it up since I am technically challenged and the new TV is very advanced. Well, those fears were unfounded. The set up was simple and it works like a charm. I actually like it better the the Hisense remote as it is smaller and more ergonomic.

The replacement control is generally comparable to the original; however, it occasionally fails to function as expected. Often, I find myself needing to press the same button twice to achieve the desired command, which can result in the TV freezing. This issue is particularly frustrating when watching Netflix, as it seems to freeze more frequently during streaming.

Bought this to replace our old shield remote. I think we have the 2015 model (I'm not sure). Anyway, it's amazing. The buttons are soft touch. It paired very easily. Once it paired our shield prompted for an update for the remote. The remote itself has been great: responsive, fast, works well. I also love that it's AAA batteries and I no longer have to fight with the cell type battery.

Uhhh, this remote doesn’t take AAA batteries!!! No way they would fit! What a piece of crapI have the remote woes! This is the second one I tried!!! !!!!

El control lleva cerca de 3 meses de uso, funciona igual que el original que vino con otra tv, el único detalle es en dónde va anclada la pila por momentos se salen , pero de ahà en fuera su uso es un hit por un costo bueno para la calidad que ofreció el producto , lo recomiendo .
