The screen was in great condition. Color was accurate. No cracks or black lines, no issue with brightness or anything. Comes with all the tools you need, and an instruction manual breaking it down step by step. I did have to purchase my own T8 Torx screwdriver though. The one it came with, the handle was loose so instead of loosening the screw, the handle would just spin.

This screen was great! The instructions are very clear and detailed. The rose gold color was identical to the original.

When I ordered this product it clearly said that the color I ordered was rose gold however I ended up with a silver one instead. I needed my laptop to work again quickly so I installed it anyway and it worked. But now I have a Frankenlaptop. I guess that’s what cases are for. Brightness does not seem as high even at the highest setting. Overall good functioning product with easy instructions and tools included. Recommend having a partner help you.

The install went smooth. I ended up using the I fixit guide and the parts provided in this kit were adequate. the only thing I would recommend is getting a longer pry tool. As for the display I am completely satisfied with its condition quality and performance. This is a great diy solution for anyone with a MacBook and I highly recommend trying it out!

Installatation was easy, took me 40 minutes, all the tools were provided, however Torx 8 screwdriver start spinning and can’t unscrew the screen bolts. I had to go and buy a set of Torx to remove that. Everything was fine until I turned on the screen and it came with a black line. Disappointed.

I didn’t know what to expect since I have never replaced a laptop screen before but wow! They couldn’t have made this any easier. They provided all the means necessary to make this a breeze 100%. Very impressed with this purchase and saved me a lot of money that I would have had to pay someone else to do.

First screen I received was delivered damaged. To be sure, I installed it and then removed it. The return and exchange was fast. Received and installed the 2nd screen. Wow! My repair worked. I gave myself pro status. Started working on an excellent review, tips included.Within 3 months while watching a video, the screen goes blank. What? Camera, backlight (brightness), and mirroring all worked. but nothing on the screen. Decided to take a break, research, then did "another" remove and install but to no avail.I’m back from another break to write a quick review and give some advice. Cross your fingers and purchase a protection plan. Better yet, get your screen from Apple.

Feels like i got a brand new computer. The customer service was great! I highly recommend reaching out to them before reaching out to amazon. they’re not really much help
