I WAS TALKING TO MY NEPHEW ABOUT THIS GAME, SHOOT THE MOON, HE SAVED FROM HIS CHILDHOOD. AS WE TALKED, OTHERS JOINED THE CONVERSATION AND EVERYONE WAS TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH FUN IT WAS. AFTER 5 TO 8 MINUTES OF DISCUSSION IT CAME OUT THAT THE BALL HAD BEEN LOST OVER THE YEARS. FOR 20 YEARS HE SAVED THIS GAME WITHOUT THE BALL. I SEARCHED FOR A REPLACEMENT AND FOUND ONE. MY NEPHEW SEEMED PLEASED AND SO WAS I.

This is actually a bit small for the game and doesn't seem to play as well as the original due to this smaller size. The original steel ball for the game that we lost somewhere -- couch cushion, out the screen door, etc. -- was a bit larger but I'm not sure what the measurement would be. The quality of the steel ball appears to be fine, however.
