I was hoping that I could use this to download photos to my laptop, but it didn't work. I don't think it's the cable. though, I think it's my laptop.

Originally, I thought the cord was the problem. But then, I realized I didn't have the proper software on my Mac to be able to use the cord and transfer date from my camera to my computer. If you have a Nikon Coolpix B500, you need to get the NX studio then the cord will work.

It says it’s the charging cable it is not charging cable that is proprietary to the Nikon brand. You cannot purchase the charger separately he does not fit into the camera it is the transfer cable and it’s really stupid I’ve ordered this like four times from four different companies and it’s the wrong cable I want the charging cable not the transfer cable
