The ballast fits perfectly and the car's headlights are working once again.The braided metal connector needs to be pushed in all the way, the OEM one needs to be firmly pushed in all the way and so will this aftermarket unit. The labels give plenty of suggestions, make sure your headlights is not leaking water(usually the main reason for the ballast to fail in the first place)So far it's worked great on the e92 M3, I will update if it fail prematurely.The support from the seller is exceptional and I suspect I should have no problem asking for a replacement if it fails in the near future.

I installed this on my 2011 BMW X5 last April/May. When it worked, it worked great. Too bad it only lasted around one year, it went out a few weeks ago. Not only that, but it’s a pain to install in this vehicle and to have to do that again. I’ll try this one more time just to be sure.

Hello everyone if you’re looking for a real review here it is ! I was searching up and down the internet for a ballast for my 09 bmw 328i and couldn’t find any reasonable price one with any reviews unless it was $200 and up . So we gave this one a try because our oem one got full of water. Make a long story short it fit perfectly no issues and worked the first time. For the price it’s a steal and I will continue to purchase form this seller in the future. So don’t be afraid of a “cheap†ballast it worked for me and was well packaged and shipped. I have had it on for about 3 months and have had no problems! The only reason I’m posting a review is to help others just pull the trigger and save them $$ on the oem or autozone brands that are quadruple the price !
