I am using this as the basking spot for my dragon. He loves it. The temperature of the stone has a gradient across it, but wow! The temperature really spreads well, avoiding hot spots altogether.

The corners were chipped after opening the packing. It was wrapped very good. Not sure how it broke. So far the product seems to do what its meant to do. Just wish it would have came in once peice.

My beardie likes to lay on the stone slab under the heat lamp where it retains a good amount of warmth she needs. I’ve also seen her scratch her nails on it, which is great for filing them down.

This is a platform that absorbs the light above Pineapple’s home. It retains the heat and keeps him warm in our northeastern colder temperatures when his natural habitat is Brazilian heat and humidity. He spends most of his time on it since we added it to his home.

We were able to take out the food bowl and save room. Stone holds temp well so Tortoise used as a basking stone.

Dimensions for the large are 7 7/8"w x 11 10/16"L and 3/16" thick, instead of 8"wx12"L and .94 inches thick! It would also be helpful if instructions for first time use and care instructions were included.

Makes a great feeding platform! Keeps mice warm under heat lamp when you have a picky snake that waits for you to be gone before eating.
