These provide the heat that my turtles need for their basking area. They work well, but the glass is very thin and fragile. As long as you are careful it shouldn't be an issue, but if you have them hanging or where they may get some bumps, they break easier than other bulbs I have used.

I got these for my leopard geckos. I upgraded them to a 55 gallon so I was worried about how far the heat lamps were going to be from them but these bulbs put out just the right amount of heat. Great quality products for the price.
