To be honest, I really wasn't expecting all that much from this canister set and I was VERY pleasantly surprised! This is a lightweight set of clear canisters with very nice plum-colored lids. Each lid has a silicon gasket. At first I was disappointed in the lids - they don't seem to fit tightly at all and I really didn't think they would do much in preserving the freshness of the contents. However, after nearly two months of constant use I can report that they work spectacularly. I had oatmeal cookies in one and gummy bears in another and both items stayed fresh the entire time they were in the canisters. The cookies stayed crisp and the gummy bears stayed soft. Awesome!! I have washed them by hand, not in the dishwasher, and they clean up perfectly. As an added bonus they nest inside each other for storage - lids and all. A great purchase - highly recommended!

First the color is amazing and the size is perfect for a big thing of spaghetti noodles. I had a slight issue when I ordered it where I received the container without the lid but the company was quick to fix and send me a new one with a lid. If you love purple and you use a lot of spaghetti this is definitely the container you need.

I bought these to store pretzels, crackers and other snack foods for my kids. I did NOT want glass since they are snack containers for my 4, 5 and 7 year olds. These sit on an open shelf in my kitchen so they needed to look nice as well as be durable. So far they seem to work well. The measurements on amazon were accurate, however I still imagined them being quite a bit bigger. That is my fault though since the measurements were correct. They look nice, no cracks or any damage from being shipped. The lids are secure but not to difficult to get on and off. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think they are a bit over priced. For the size of the containers combined with the fact that they are plastic, not glass, I think they are to much. But because I can't find any others that I like better I will keep them and I know they will work well for what we need.

What I am really impressed with this set is it's glass not plastic, doesn't look cheap and being clear makes it easier to see what I've got inside instead of trying to open each one up. Even though some products do have labels for them I like these a lot. Plus the red lids match my colors in our kitchen..

Amazon actually made an error in packing and sending this. It arrived in a PAPER mailer and it was missing a lid. Surprisingly it was undamaged. I called the vendor and although it is Amazon’s responsibility they sent me the lid and it arrived in just two days. It is nice acrylic, the lid has a ring of soft plastic as a way to seal the canister. The yellow color is a nice moderate yellow. I love it!
