I just received this in the mail today so I haven't really used it, just tried it out with a piece of paper. Seems like it's sturdy and will work well. I'm aggravated though that the little plastic see through part is all scratched up! Why couldn't they have put one of those plastic protectors on that before packaging? That is aggravating to have something arrive already scratched up. You're supposed to be able to see through that to "highlight" words/lines. Kind of hard to do when it's scratched.

I crochet. The directions are either on the arm rest of my chair, the table next to me or in my lap. I have to turn and look down to read them.This helps keep the papers exactly where I can see them without losing my place.Only con is that it's only portrait. Some of my directions are landscape.
