I had heard, and when I saw them , they looked small. What I did was to run them under hot water and gently stretch them. They spread to their full size from their vacuum pack and fit my Smartpond box perfectly.

After removing them from a vacuum sealed bag they initially did not attain specified size. I then proceeded to return them as they were too small. The following day I decided to recheck them as they appeared slightly larger and found that they fit properly. So with vacuum sealed products give it a few days before sending them back.

I go through these running my pond pump to clean water that geese and ducks swim in. Same as original materials and great pricing. They do wash out well by hand but eventually need replacement.

WE HAVE A POND IN THE BACKYARD THAT HAS A FOUNTAIN IN IT. I USE THESE FILTERS TO HELP KEEP THE POND CLEAN. THEY WORK VERY WELL AND I REPLACE THEM EVERY YEAR OR SO.

After receiving this item I allowed it to sit out so the filters could puff up after being vacuumed sealed. All but one puffed up as it should. The fourth seems to be almost melted. I let them sit for 24 hours which was plenty of time for them to puff to the normal size

It was exactly what I needed for my pond pump box. Product came vacuum sealed so package was very light and small.
