- This product is fitted for installing on the flat, hard wall or solid wood only.
- This wide stair gate is suitable for the children from the age of 6 to 24 months and pets from 10 lbs to 40 lbs (4.5 kg to 18 kg).

Easy to install, work great. I have 2 dogs, 1 large and one small and I am always having to confine them to certain areas in the house. This works great for single and for double door passages. When it is not in use, it retracts out of the way, not like the stationary ones that you are always running into or that have small door openings. I highly recommend it!

We inherited 2 dachshunds unexpectedly and we needed way to keep them from running out the door. This did not work for that!! The bottom is material and they simply crawled under it. That being said, its a pretty gate, non invasive and was easily installed. If I had bigger dogs or a child I would definitely have use for this type of gate. Had to give it to my friend who had kids and I returned the unopened one (I bought two). Side note: my friend very much enjoys the separation/safety this gate gives her toddler from the dangers in the bathroom.

We bought a couple of these to keep the dogs out of the kitchen while I'm cooking. They are perfect! No more tripping over the four-legged kids while preparing meals! They were super easy to install and came with plenty of the necessary hardware.

I love this gate ! We use it for the top of our quirky steps to keep our 1 year old from having access to the stairs. It is sturdy enough when locked to keep it from unlocking or retracting when my baby randomly bangs on it. It hooks on two hooks, one on top and one on the bottom to keep it in place. Then you have to turn the little lock knob to keep it from retracting. It is easy to use with one hand which is a must for us. It comes with all the necessary hardware to properly install the gate and a guide to help properly align the gate hooks. The only thing I would say isn't ideal is the way it locks. It is easy for our 3 year old to unlock and lock by himself (which we don't mind because he is safe when it comes to going down the steps). The mesh material is sturdy and the gate is well crafted.
