Comfortable and easy to use
The NecksGen REV is a compact, "backpack style" device that sits on your back and shoulders, as opposed to the traditional yoke style devices that put pressure on your collarbones and chest. Because of it's small size, and easy to use quick disconnect hardware, the device can easily be clicked in and out of your helmet, or some drivers even prefer to simply leave it connected and remove both at the same time. A simple pull of the red tether releases the connection to the helmet, and connecting it again is a simple tab and slot design that you can do with one hand.
REV Sizing
To determine the right size REV for you, refer to the chart to the left. The measurements shown are the inside diameter of the part where your neck will be. Measure the diamater of your neck, and choose whichever device is larger than the diamater of your neck. Be sure to take into account that if you wear a thick (8+) layer racing suit, you should account for this extra thickness. The small size is intended to be worn by youth drivers.

I have been around racing from a crewman and track official to driver/owner and have seen and had my fair share of serious accidents. I always used the old standard neck roll until I hit a wall head on at full speed, I was lucky I walked away sore with no serious injury. I decided to invest in a head and neck restraint, after alot of research I decided on the Necksgen. 2 races into the season I had another accident and it did its job! this is much better than the old neck roll it gives you better range of motion and will protect you better in the event of a head on, side impact and roll over.do your self a favor and spend the extra money and save you neck!Oh and Necksgen has about the best customer service I have ever delt with! I had an issue with one of the helmet releases so i called them and the next day a new one was at my door free of charge!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT WITH BIG ADVANTAGES OVER THE OTHER HANS DEVICES WHICH ARE BULKY AND HEAVY WHICH THE NECKSGEN REV IS NOT. I HAVE USED IT SEVERAL TIME NOW AND CAN SAY AFTER A FEW SESSIONS IT IS NOT NOTICEABLE IN USE. SOME CLAIM THE DEVICE LIMITS YOUR ABILITY TO TURN YOUR HEAD BUT I DID NOT FIND THAT THE CASE IT TURNS VERY SMOOTHLY AND ALLOWS ENOUGH MOVEMENT TO VIEW THE MIRRORS IN MY 3 DIFFERENT CARS. IT IS VERY EASY TO PUT ON AND SET UP AND VERY EASY TO INSTALL ON YOUR HELMET WHICH IS PROBABLY PRE-DRILLED FOR THE DEVICE. GREAT DEVICE AND YOU PROBABLY NEED A MEDIUM SIZE WHICH FITS MOST ALL EXCEPT EXTREME SMALL OR LARGE PERSONS. I FOUND IT FOR $500 INCLUDING SHIPPING AND NO SALES TAX IN CA.

Worn the brace at 2 events so far. I wear the medium & due to my tall stature the tether straps are a bit restrictive. Turning my head side to side is greatly reduced. I will contact them to see if they advise going to the next tether size up. I have no doubt that if ever involved in a high G-load accident the NecksGen REV may prevent serious spinal injury. Absolutely no pressure point pain in the shoulder or neck area as noted w/some other devices Ive somewhat mastered putting the helmet & brace on w/little issue. Just a few more moments involved to ensure my harness straps on engaged into the horns of the braceIf you are involved in any high speed track driving, a HAN device is a must IMO

This is the one to get--it goes on super easy, but once your harnesses are on, you are locked into position. I did 2 races with this and I actually like the feeling of safety this gives me--I hardly notice the restricted head movement. But, keep in mind you will not be able to look behind you with this on, you'll need to use your mirrors.

This is a light weight easy to use product. I hope we don't need to use it but it is good to know we have it in the event we need it.
