This innovative water leak detector uses a lever trigger mechanism to shut off incoming water in case of leak. An absorbent expanding pad is fitted into the device and when water comes into contact with the material it will expand in size. This will flip up a lever that shuts off the incoming water supply. This leak detector is completely maintenance free as it does not require electricity or batteries. It can be easily installed on any surface with a simple screw and adhesive pad but it should be placed close to where a water leak may pool near the water source. This detector works well with reverse osmosis and other water filtration systems.

It works well for my needs except the double sided tape that came with it...it's just not strong enough. I replaced it with one that it had laying around that is much stronger. Gives me confidence that the valve will stay upright behind the fridge when i push it back against the wall.

When I tried to install water stop the two clamps broke.I tried to purchase replacement at hardware store but none available. Please send replacement.Thanks
