How to Install A New Battery:
- You need to turn off your tablet and disconnect the power.
- Disconnect the connection between the old battery and the motherboard to avoid unnecessary damage caused by disassembling the battery. Then unscrew the old battery screws one by one and carefully save each screw.
- Remove the old battery, carefully install the new battery on the battery case, screw in the screw, and connect the wiring of the new battery.

The plastic tools provided Are too soft. I used them for a while and the tips became smashed and distorted so I used the tiny common screw driver provided. Go slow every inch or so. It will come loose at a corner and just keep working it. Great deal and very appreciated. Saved my 7 yr. old tab. Look on youtube for step by step instruction. Update. The next morning after instal. battery was dead, dead after NO use overnight, and would not take a charge after previously charging completely. I set up a return and a few hrs. later it began to charge and is operating normally. I had not returned it at Kohls. Today received email that Im being sent another a no charge. Dont want to go through batt. change again if not necessary. What should I do?

The battery so far seems to hold a good charge. The price was very reasonable.

First battery was borked. It died halfway through the drain, and didn't attempt to charge. Sent it back and a couple months later, the "new" battery is still working. Can't say that'll be the case in a year or so, but it's giving life to a sub-par tablet. There are better vendors for these batteries, just be careful what you get. These are NOT OEM, not even close. The mounting system is hit or miss, but the batteries safely secured for now.Good customer service, dodgy product/promises, and Amazon as always was slow with the replacement. But it saved this tablet from the landfill.

Discovered instructions on-line how to replace the battery in my tablet. It wasn't a drop-in replacement and required a bit of squeezing to accomplish, but when finished I was able to finally use the tablet for more than a few minutes. It works great and it's nice to have it working again.
