My sister purchased this for her daughters first year of college and she is a senior and still has her chest. I ordered for my granddaughter and She/I loved it. We used it to pack up for college and she use it at college to store her seasonal clothes and able to lock her computer and important stuff in it. I ordered one for our grandson trunk party, that is how much we love it.Don’t make a mistake and buy a cheap one, this is durable, heavy and nice. It don’t come with lock, we just purchased one.

We bought this for my son when he went to college last fall and it was a great call.The trunk is solid, well-built, and will last for a long time. The corners are well-protected and the hinges are solid.While it's not the lightest trunk out there weight-wise, the wheels on the base (which are removable) make it very easy to move around.It does what it's supposed to do and it does it very well.

This is a very well constructed trunk. The type of thing you have have for a lifetime. It is being used for college. The size was perfect. Fit under the bed without being too big and fits a bunch of stuff. The Navy Blue looks sharp. Wheels were easy to put on and remove. It’s heavy so you definitely will want wheels to move it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a trunk; well worth what you pay.

They call it the camp and college trunk, but anyone with roommates can also appreciate this item. I bought it used from a third party, with the disclaimer that it had "some scratches on bottom," at a very substantial discount. Well, if you looked real close, you could find a couple of scuff marks on the bottom, which in no way impaired its functionality, or appearance. It is extremely well made, The lid, latches, and central hasp all line up perfectly. All the hardware is properly secured and does not rattle when the trunk is moved. The wheels are easy to attach, stay in place, and function as they should. The description noted that it was solid enough to use as a step stool, and I can verify that I have tested that with my 200+ lbs, with practically no give on the trunk's lid. Its solid construction make it a bit on the heavy side (about 25 lbs empty, I think). The interior is unlined, and although I happen to like it, the absence of fabric covering may put some people off. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, and I expect this trunk to outlast me.

This trunk is a great alternative. It was sturdy and spacious. You really have to snap the wheels on right because of not they will snap off as you wheel it on full of stuff. Overall great buy!

First off I am thrilled to have been able to support a “local†manufacturer. Secondly, this is really well made! Really high quality. No fiber board. Wheels were so easy to put on that I did it before I even realized there were instructions. This was purchased for my elderly mom who lives in assisted living to protect her valuables. Without a doubt, it it serving its purpose and we are 100% confident that no one will be getting into it.

I got this trunk used with some minor imperfections. They were nothing structural only cosmetic. This was used for a hiking/camp, and even though it came back very dirty it held up to everything that it was put through this included being thrown in and out of buses, as well as handling, dirty, clothes and shoes, he kept the bugs out as well. All trucks like this are expensive. I’m glad I was able to get it on sale. I don’t know that I would’ve bought it at full price.

This trunk is beautiful bought the slate gray color! My daughter used for sleep away camp and it was sturdy, I hope she can used it for years to come like some reviewers said they had. It can get a little heavy, especially after it's full, so the removable wheels are great to have. It was a bit pricey but if it means the product is made in the USA and of good quality, I'm willing to spend a bit more on it.
