The problem with most storage is that it is just as big when it is empty, but this is collapsible and works well maintaining no moisture in the rice.

I love these containers so I purchased another. Perfect for storing my chickpeas and rice. They’re super convenient. I like the way they look and also they have wheels that make moving them around so much easier. I’ll probably purchase another.

Definitely not a 30lb I bought a 30 lb of dog food and it couldn’t hold but half at best. I bought another one 20 lb and still had a quarter left in the bag and I’m not buying another one.Not happy completely false advertising and not space saving if you have to buy 3 for one bag of food. The 20lbs btw was same height and width as this one there was zero -0- difference in circumference they were both 15lb or actually less since both filled to very top and I still had a quarter bag left of a 30 lb bag.SMHNot a great deal when multiple by 3

I've actually purchased 2 of these. One houses food for the indoor cat and I have another for the outdoor cats (which aren't always my cats and are sometimes actually raccoons or possums...sigh). They pop up and hold almost an entire 16 lb. bag of dry food. There's usually a tad left in a bag after I fill the container. I'd read in another review that others also noticed that it doesn't hold quite as much as advertised, but all-in-all, it has been great for its intended purpose which was to get rid of those unsightly bags.

I normally have rice on hand. I consistently get 25 lbs bags. This is perfect for my pantry. It’s decent quality material considering it’s collapsible. It comes with a measuring cup and scoop. That was a pleasant surprise. I love that it kind of looks like a little monster from the view above. It also has wheels, and a snap in handle. I’d recommend this for anyone that needs storage for a smaller space, and bulk buy food items.

Update review: container is not air tight or bug proof or whatever the advertising says. Today ants found their way in and my cat food is now full of ants.The container is a great size. The collapsible part is a little weird but it definitely works well. Unfortunately, I was sent 3 correct wheels for it and a 4th wheel that didn't match the others and is too small for the slot on the container. So it sits loose in the slot and then when it's rolled, falls out making the whole container tip and then collapse. It's super annoying. I was hoping to contact someone to get a replacement wheel but I may have to return the whole thing, which doesn't seem worth it. I may just hot glue the loose wheel into place.

I specifically went looking on Amazon for a dog food container as yge manufacturer of my dogs food only makes 30 lbs bags now and the containers I used before would only hold half the bag. I chose this container because it says it will hold a 30 pound bag of food. It doesn't even hold half the bag! What a waste of 40 bucks!
