I use these everywhere, not only to protect clothes against moths but also give garments a fresh scent.

I’ve been using these over mothballs for years as a prevention measure. They smell great and are cheaper that a DIY home tea remedy.

I have been using these sachets for many years now. They have really done the job keeping moths at bay, and the scent is not unpleasant. The price has gone up significantly since I began buying them years ago, but I still consider these a great alternative to harsh chemicals and smelly mothballs. I usually hang a few in each closet as well as put them in the bags and boxes that I store out of season clothes in.

So much better than mothballs. No chemicals and they have a fresh scent. Using them for items being stored. Great inside suitcases in between trips.

I am very pleased with the product. It smells wonderful, is very easy to use and I expect will solve an emerging problem in my wool yarn storage area. 9/18/15. I have to retract my 5 star comment. The emerging problem mentioned in my July comment has exploded into a full blown infestation of moths in an open display area where I show my hand spun wool yarn and hand knit sweaters that are for sale. At the time of the original purchase, I had found one skein of yarn that appeared to be damaged by moths. I checked all the other skeins on display and the sweaters and found no additional damage. I purchased these packets to stop a problem before it got out of hand. I put the packets in places where the yarn skeins are displayed and hung them around the knit sweaters. Earlier this week, I checked the display and found huge holes in two of the sweaters and many of the packets had been eaten by the moth larvae as well. One sweater had live larvae crawling around. If the packets truly repelled the moths, they would not be laying eggs and hatching larvae. Needless to say my financial loss is considereable and these packets dimply do not work as advertised. I am sending the eaten packets to the company.

Convenient to use and does appear to be non-toxic (no bad smells). I think my biggest disappointment is that I have tons of lavender and rosemary in my garden (Mediterranean climate) and keep mint in my kitchen garden so all the fragrances are better in the garden than in the sachet. The sachets that were put in my drawers ran out pretty quickly (3 or so weeks). The ones that were still in the unopened plastic packaging still had fragrance. Perhaps it would have been better to make larger sachets and provide fewer of them that would have allowed the scent to be greater. I am not sure how well they work for keeping out moths. I use fresh lavender from my garden and it works ok but not as well as mothballs. But I want non-toxic and so I use cedar which I think works better, although I prefer the fragrance of the herbs.

Well, I gave Richard's a four star, even though maybe a five would be deserved. It is a great organic product and I have been a repeat customer for years. The only thing that may make me switch is the price. The initial box I purchased was $13, the last one was nearly double in price, hence the 4-star.
