it's difficult to find unscented poured pillar candles in beautiful colors. If you can find them, they are usually poorly made, with aerated wax that burns too quickly and smokes. The Richland candles are proportioned correctly, made with solid creamy wax and a thicker wick to prevent wick-drowning or core-burning. The colors are rich and gorgeous just like the photos, and the color runs all the way through - not white with a color dip. They're long-burning and nearly odorless. Whether you just decorate with these or actually use them (as I do), they're a very high quality candle for a really good price. I'll be ordering more!As you can see from the photo, if you take a few minutes to "train" the wick as the candle begins to burn down, these candles will not drown the wicks, tunnel, spill/drip, or core-burn. The wax is the perfect consistency and the wick is the correct size for pillar candles that can actually be used safely and efficiently, as well as look beautiful. Can't rate them higher:

The color is as expected except for a few blotches of peach color in the pink wax. One blotch is near the base & can be seen in the close-up photo. Otherwise, the color is as expected.I'm looking forward to burning it as it is supposed to be smokeless & clean-burning. Regarding safety in burning, there is a label on the bottom with instructions & warnings.It came double boxed with bubble wrap in both boxes, & the candle wrapped in cellophane so no worries about shipping damage. I'm keeping it despite the small color defects which you have to look closely to see.

These candles are so beautiful! I love the color. This is exactly what I wanted as an accent in my living room. When they are not lit, they are the color of cotton candy. When you light them up the color gets richer. I hope the photos are helpful. They are Scentless and burn evenly without a mess. I will be buying these again And I highly recommend them.
