The water company I work for bought this tapping tool because we are beginning to install new customer service lines. We bought the 3/4" m110 adaptor so we could hook up to the compression threads on Mueller & Jones corp stops. That adaptor didn't work. The threads do not match at all. None of our local water works companies have been able to figure it out and when I called Ridgid customer service they told me that they had no issues with hooking that adaptor up to a corp stop. They told me to return it to the distributor and get a new adaptor. (The adaptor is for 3/4" taps but has a 1" diameter hookup with threads too fine to fit the 110 style compression fitting threads)The tapping tool itself is great but if you can't hook up to anything other than npt thread it's extremely limited in application. It's frustrating.
