Ridgid EB4424 Sander, Oscillating Edge Belt is two machines in one that combines an edge belt and spindle sanding in one high performance tool. The ball bearing construction provides smooth operation and a long life. The oscillating and rotary motion provides fast, burn-free finishes on edges, faces, contours, inside and outside curves. Tool free conversion from belt to spindle changes are quick and easy, no tools required. Table tilts 0-48 degrees with detents at most popular angles (0, 15, 22.5, 30, and 45 degrees) to sand bevel edges. Completely outfitted this sander includes a 4-inch X 24-inch belt, all drums and set of sleeves. On-board accessory storage for all drums, throat plates, washers and belt mechanism store neatly on the tool. Nice options and really easy to change spindles. The only real downside is the dust collection really does not work that well with a shop vac - maybe it needs a more powerful vac.

My sander was shipped with a missing part. A very simple issue. RIDGID's registration and support is worthless. Round and round on-line and I can't get a simple part replaced. No way I will ever buy another RIDGID product.Run away from RIDGID products.

I did not like the fact that since I did not buy the sander from Home Depot the warranty is not applied. The sander is great and well built so the warranty is probably not a factor but is still seems like a bad policy.

Buyer beware. Ridgid offers its famous "lifetime warranty" to products bought either directly from them or from Home Depot. This does NOT apply to any of their products bought through Amazon, despite it being from the official Ridgid store right here on Amazon. Simply said: if you want their warranty, you can't buy it here.

Best occilating belt/spindle sander on the market. It works perfect it’s easy and fast to switch from belt sander to spindle sander. Super versatile and reliable. I would buy the same if ever I needed to. A must have tool for me, I build electric guitars and some furniture.

One of our sons-in-love introduced me to the possibility of owning a bench-top sander. He is a GOOD man! I am in process of building a wooden 8" hyroplane with our grandson. It is a scantily documented project and the ability to "shape" parts is critical. I generate a great deal of dust with this item. It is a very good thing! Paul
