I have used this filter along with my gutter attachment and it worked great. I have had no issues with this filter so far (used 6 times to suck up water and debris).

A little pricey but meant to be washable/reuseable so if it holds up to repeated cleanings it will be a good purchase. Ridgid name brand quality, they make good stuff.

I often have spills or occasional dog problems that require liquids to clean up or pick up. I've made the mistake and said to myself, oh, well, I'll just use a little water. Mistake. This just wrecks the more expensive and important dry filter. Liquids? It just takes 15 seconds total to get the filter and exchange it. If it's truly only a little water, you can even switch back to dry. But normally, I empty the dry vacuum after I've finished picking up some fluids. Again, it's a quick change that saves your motor. A great addition to the whole "system" of a shop vac.
