This product is most likely rot free considering it’s PVC. But it is most definitely not tangle free. I took these out for the first time on 3 dozen floaters. I Texas rigged this on a 5 ounce weight. The amount of tangles I got from this line was ridiculous. I usually run one carabiner for a dozen decoys and it was a mess. The next morning I ran half a dozen on a carabiner and still had a headache. For those of you making your own rigs, USE WIRE COATED LINE. It’s so worth it. I cut the PVC and went back to my wire coated line and had no issues. The tangles are awful on this product, I’m telling you.

In cold weather anywhere it kinks it brakes and the points it wraps around the decoy keel makes it weak too. Used this brand before had no issues. New formula or bad batch is my guess.

This product is great. Birds can’t see the line in the water but this line snaps like a twig in freezing water

Time will tell I know this stuff cuts easy I made Texas rigs will see if it holds up.
