Works great and does everything I need it to. Only thing I do not like is it does not have 11M band loaded into the settings so to run functions related to CB band you have to manually enter in frequencies and ranges to net results. Otherwise it’s tip top. My usasge is mostly tuning antennas for talking on 10/11 meter radios, this analyzer is perfect for this use. I am overall pleased with this purchase and would buy again.

This is the best value in an HF analyzer out there. It's easy and intuitive to use, rugged, and doesn't use tons of batteries... just 2 AA cells. This color display is bright and clear. It has an SO-239 connector on top rather than a BNC so you don't need any adapters. The SWR sweep is super fast and tells you exactly what you need to know... is my antenna too long or too short, and where is the lowest SWR right now? Also, it comes with a protective case with shoulder strap at no extra charge, and the clear plastic front of the case allows the unit to be used without removing it. I could not be happier with the quality and ease of use of this unit. Also, I have owned an analyzer from the company that starts with an "M" and has 3 letters, and this unit is superior in every way... plus, it costs less! My experience level in the hobby is 45 years an active ham.

Compared to the MFJ tester, this is much easier to use. Would've liked to see the plastic housing be more durable, also would like a rechargeable version. The USB 1.1 connection is outdated, and maybe there could be a better case design, along with a so239 cap for storage. However. It's an awesome tool to have if you are a HAM radio/CB operator.

I read reviews about several different analyzers and watched several youtube videos before deciding on the AA-35-zoom.I received the analyzer, popped the batteries in, connected the antenna, and ran a scan. My current HF antenna is an off center fed dipole, 133 feet total length, 36 feet high, and setup in an inverted -V and the analyzer showed the good and the bad. Next hooked it up to my dummy load. What I really like is the Antenna scope software which allows the data to be viewed from my 23 inch display. It's a very informative tool and very easy to use for a basic quick check of an antenna system.

This is a great meter and the price is in a fair range. Of course you get what you pay for, nothing wrong with this meter at all but the next step up in meters will show lengths of the coax without having to do math work on your on. So most will not really need the lengths but I wanted to step up the AA-55 zoom so I could use the meter to check them if I ever needed too. But as of now the extra money spent wasn't needed because this meter does all I needed it to do. I would recommend this meter to the next person.

This product is very easy to use and provides all the necessary data you are looking for when setting up an antenna. There is more data points and info provided than I even fully understand at this point but it serves its purpose for me and allows me to learn greater depth of antenna set up and building with these features. I also love how it can simply be used as an interface for the PC software AntScope2. Definitely a quality and useful product to most hobby level radio guys and gals.

This is the best antenna analyzer. It really shines when you hook it up to a laptop and see how the antenna performs over the entire spectrum. Have a question about your coax or a connector? This analyzer does time domain reflectometry which means you can examine the status of your connection as a function of the distance from the analyzer. Have a problem connector after 50 feet of coax? This analyzer will pinpoint it. More importantly, this analyzer is not going to give you weird and bizarre readings just because there is a lot of RF in the shack (as some other analyzers will do).
