I bought this to add a swing seat option to my flight simpit. Easy to modify and adapt to anything you want. The adjustment of the friction is easy as well. VERY well built.

Not sure about this product . It was not hard to put in but it does not swivel. Need to get a hold of manufacturer. How do get a phone number.

Keep in mind this is a generic “one size fits all†swivel seat for a variety of vans. I have a 2019 Ford Transit 250 med roof. The install is fairly simple, plenty of YouTube videos to find.Step 1 disconnect batteryStep 2 disconnect wiring harness under seatStep 3 remove seatStep 4 install swivelStep 5 reinstall everything in reverse order and done.Note: (For the transit you will need to cut off a bar behind the seat that is used to install child seats and swap out the bolts for shorter bolts)Took less than an hour with the correct tools. Now the bad stuff. The low profile of the swivel means depending on which holes line up on your seat, the bolts that mount to the van may come in contact with the bolts that attach to the seat and cause it not to swivel. To fix this I went to the hardware store and swapped out for shorter bolts. The REALLY bad, the swivel has a locking lever to change position of the seat. It’s extremely poorly designed and is prone to failure. Right off the rip I noticed it was already misaligned due to it only being held by one bolt, (which isn’t truly bolted, just sort of spot welded in place.) I realigned and righted the locking lever bolt before installation. However within 10 minutes of installation on the first functional test of the swivel, the locking mechanism completely failed and broke off. This is not user error, simply poor engineering. The seat still swivels but can no longer lock in the forward facing position while driving. Not the best designed and would not recommend for others

Pretty impressed with the build quality.2017 Ford Transit 250It seems a few have had issues. Maybe they have a different vehicle than me but I got it to work with little trouble.I'm going to go into detail here with things I just learned installing this.Someone else gave the advice to disconnect the van's negative battery lead and to check that your ignition key does nothing when you try it. You need to disconnect the seat air bag connector and reconnect later while the van's power is still disconnected. The connector under the passenger seat air bag takes a 7mm socket to undo. Don't get distracted like I did trying to figure out how to separate the plastic parts without removing that 7mm bolt, once you do it pulls straight out. If you follow the cable there are a few places where it is secured, you should disconnect those. The new swivel makes the cable too tight, I put quite a bit of tension on mine before I realized.I may go back and protect the cable a little better since it's free floating now. Anyways, don't reconnect until you are finished with the installation. You will need to bend down or cut the square metal loop on the back of the seat platform, I recommend bending since I think this gets used for baby seats? The bolts provided are too long and will need to be cut off after you put the swivel on.I thought I'd be smart and just use two washers on top to raise the bolts up but this made it so the seat could no longer slide back and forth. So, I used 4 washers on the original factory torx screws (#45?) and one on the top and one on the bottom of the new 4 bolts holding the seat to the swivel.I would recommend cutting the bolts flush with the nuts as you go since it can be difficult to rotate the seat if you install all four bolts in one go. You will need to juggle this with loose fitting all four bolts so that you get the holes aligned. No drilling was necessary.Check that you haven't rotated the seat belt into a spiral before you reconnect the air bag connector, then reconnect the van's battery. The satisfaction of gaining all the living space by being able to rotate my seat is rewarding and I'm quite happy with that and the overall quality of this swivel, especially for the price. There is a small amount of flex and that's why I'm docking one star. I also think that including detailed instructions would result in better sales and less returns.I feel bad for those that ran into problems.Come say hi, daveybphotos on ig.

Mounted this swivel in a 2019 Ford Transit 350. It was an easy fit to the current mount . Easily a DYS project. Initially it was a tight fit but the more you use it the better it works. I would recommend this product.

This is not a swivel base... It does have 3 seat positions however it requires seat removal and complete disassembly of the two plate to move seat to a different position.

finally took it in to have installed and seems that parts may have been lost or missing and mechanic was unable to install the item it would not work on my van seat.
