The original wheels were worn all the way down to the plastic. These were easy to install. The description doesn't say it will work on the 900 series, but this fit perfectly for my model 960.

I am so grateful that iRobot makes replacement parts readily available for their products! I use my Roomba at least 3 times a week to help maintain our hard floors between deep cleanings. One day, one of our puppies dragged a cat toy (the fishing pole type with a metal wire that dangles a toy for the cat to chase) into the area being cleaned and before I knew what had happened, the wire was absolutely jammed between the rubber of the wheel and the hard plastic part. Being handy, I tried to remove the toy from the wheel for an hour and it was just completely stuck. I finally gave up and ordered the replacement part and within half an hour of receiving it, our Roomba was back in action. Whew! Such a relief.Thanks, iRobot! You've made a loyal customer of me!

Follows instructions from Roomba on how to change wheel. When I turned it on it just said “rightâ€. I don’t think I got a working wheel.

My Roomba was spinning in circles and showing a “right wheel error†because I had literally run the wheels off of it. $20 for a new wheel after 1230 hours of run time seems like a fair exchange. This was a simple replacement and my Roomba is back to doing my dirty work for me.
