I just received my new mat, which was a birthday gift to myself, lol. It's a bit pricey but once I saw it, other mats just didn't seem to compare.The seller shipped this out a few days after I ordered and it arrived before the estimated delivery date, which was a nice surprise.I was expecting to like this, but I actually LOVE it! Perfect condition, well-packed and it's much lighter than I expected when folded up, which makes it easy to slide into and out of the little nook I created in the living room to protect it from curious cats and their claws.It's wonderfully easy to toss open and after 35 years of exercise, and training clients, I've never seen a mat this thick and simultaneously firm but cushioned. The surface will be a breeze to keep clean as well.I'm using this for floor barre, yoga, calisthenics and Pilates-style workouts. This actually made me want to do more exercise tuna usual, lol. I'm so glad I treated myself to this! Game changer for me.

Bought this mat for myself to use during long winter months but too busy working to get in any indoor exercise. My husband recently retired and started an indoor workout routine to stay fit. He loves it. It is well made, padded, comfortable to use. Nice blue color. Not too bright but pleasing. He is average height and weight and there is plenty of space for floor work. Price was reasonable for what you get. I would definitely recommend and by again.

I'm not a gymnast! I need more excercise. It is firm enough you can keep balance and some give so you don't feel like you are on wood or concrete. I've done some planks and basic stretching on it. I'm overweight in my 40's with back problems. I needed a firmer mattress. I first noticed relief when on camping trips sleeping on my thermarest inflatable pad. It's works for camping but at home I wanted something better.At 5'10 and 230 pounds I can assure you that this foam mattress is dense material. I can jump up and down on top and there is minimal compression of the mat. My teenage son compared it to being like the ones in his high school.It might not be perfect for everyone but I am glad I did not listen to the negative reviews. I did not feel like I was on a hard floor. There is no velcro snagging on anything. It takes about the same space as a folded up patio lounger when not in use. My back has already experienced a release of some lower spinal issues that frequently cause me pain.If I had one complaint it would cosmetic issues with how some of the edges were lined up when the seams were sewn. The stitching appears solid but it isn't the prettiest. The price and quality of the product in my opinion more than offsets the small cosmetic blemish that is hidden under the bottom of the mat as I sleep on top of it.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have owned it less than a week and don't use it for it's intended purpose. I am very happy with my purchase. I hope my review is helpful to others who might be on the borderline of buying it or not. I was worried about some of the negative reviews I had read.

Nice quality. The firmness is such that I can do standing yoga as well as seated. It makes everything so much nicer! Easier to unfold than to unroll a traditional yoga mat.
