Planned a DIY rebuild of laundry room, that needed a 74†x 34†countertop, with cutouts for light switches / door frame / power cords access.Because of the cuts, I wanted a solid piece of wood that could last any water damage. This butcher block was perfect. Used “unnecessary†pieces (to size desired countertop) as support braces. Again: perfect.Only issue was the weight, which is indicated in the product information as 50lbs. If you know oak, and I don’t, this is not possible.Delivery was left on front porch, as expected. But couldn’t be moved without help from 2 movers with furniture dollies.Be it prepared.
