I've had other Rivers Edge products and I've always been satisfied. The Lounger Tree Seat is no exception. It is pretty bulky to haul into the woods with a gun and all my other gear. But it is very sturdy and has a ratchet strap to secure it to the tree. The seat has a very thick pad and hangs from the frame, making it very comfortable to sit for long hours of hunting. What I like most about this seat is how it attaches to the tree at the top of the seat back. This allows the seat to be securely ratcheted to a smaller, more normal diameter and not at the wide base at the lower trunk. I would definitely recommend this seat. Just be aware that it is somewhat bulky to carry.

I just started hunting this year. The first day I sat on the ground with a hot seat and it was terrible!! My legs fell asleep and I had to keep moving. If I was to continue to hunt, I knew I would need to change my seating. This seat is awesome!!!! I have never set still so long in a seat. Super comfortable!! I definitely recommend. The only draw back is it doesn't fold down very well, so a little clunky to carry thru woods. ( I just strapped it to my pack) but WELL worth it! I promise!!

This seat is fantastic. Super easy to attach and incredibly comfortable. Only reason it got a 4 star rating was because it’s very awkward to carry in. Needs some type of strap to keep it together and to wear like a backpack or shoulder strap.

Great,comfortable hunting seat!! They changed the Velcro closure on the armrests . Not in a good way ??? This is the second one I’ve purchased old one was correct. Might consult the sweat shop crew to correct this ?

I’ve always said the people that design these products should be hunters and use the products they design. The webbing around the armrest frame has the Velcro sewn into it and the supplied padding is not molded to fit around the armrest. Therefore if you don’t use the padding, you have to deal with exposed Velcro against your clothing or bare skin.Go to sportsman’s guide and buy this same stand that is camouflaged and has better armrest padding design and is less than half the price this one cost.My hunting buddy has been using that one for 10+ years and is pleased with it.Note- This stand does not include a carrying strap for the stand, so you’ll have to build your own. This stand is too bulky to carry around in your hand.I hunt in the mountains and it is walk-in only and I cover a lot of area and have to be mobile.

I was told about this chair by a friend and it is all that he said it was. The cost was more than he got his for last year but what isn’t. I really find it better than others I have had in regards to comfort. There is a couple of Velcro strips I do not know why they are there and my coat catches on it. I have covered as I do not want the noise.

Have not used seat yet, but I was expecting a nicely camouflaged seat. Upon opening the box the seat was not camouflage but a grayish color. Disappointed in that. Other than that the seat seems well made. Does not come with a carrying strap (I knew that when ordering).10-17-19: Have since been in contact with River's Edge Rep. and have learned that the seats are no longer camouflage. They will all be the grayish color.
