Good quality and well built. Love the grip on this and not heavy but very durable. Great for cutting roots in the garden and also used as a edger. Definitely would buy again. It was more expensive than others available but I know this one will last a long time.

I purchased this shovel to do some light trenching. I have rocky soil and some of the trenching abuts a driveway. This shovel was perfect for me. It is light. The ergonomic shape of the handle makes it very stable while digging. And the cutting edge helped with vegetation clearing. The foot rest on top was the perfect size to help clear the trench while I was digging.

First day and appreciated all the various ways to use this edger. Press in the blade, the easy step really helps me with accuracy and ability to put my weight into it. It rolls side to side easier than anything I've tried. Then the little digging blade is terrific to move all the loosed edge. Haven't tried the saw part yet but can't wait to see. This whole thing was more than I wanted to spend and now I'm glad I did!! Well worth it!

I originally bought this shovel for metal detecing since it was smaller. I ended up returning it because it felt heavier to me than expected, also bulkier than expected and I wasn't comfortable carrying it around while metal detecting. Overall it was a sturdy shovel and was good for digging small plugs, just a little too heavy for me.

This is not only a shovel, this is also a serrated root cutter that you push on with your foot ! And that really gets the job done.It is sturdy enough for most things, be carefult though that you can't use it as a lever to rip a 1 foot diameter stub out of the ground. Use it to remove the earth around the roots, to cut through small ones until you get enough removed to be able to remove the whole thing.it is small enough to be used while leaning/squatting/sitting/kneeling around the problem area, but also long enough to use while standing up, weighting on it to saw a protruding root inside the soil. The handle is ergonomic and you won't get blisters on your hand even after a few hours shoveling the area.The weight is light enough, although I understand making it lighhter would have implied a reduction in its sturdiness, so that's ok.Overall, a good product, recommended.

Well made. You've still got to have the strength you would use if you had a shovel. Better than a shovel just not sharper and of course a shorter handle making you more dependent on placing it correct vs a shovel of raising it up and powering down to cut.

I’ve had a few edging tools over the years and they’ve all broken at the bottom of the wooden handle…probably due to me using them to create new edging and carving up sections of lawn to remove for beddings etc. Anyway, I’m really happy with this purchase. Used it to create a new flowerbed and to section off turf to be removed…did a great job including breaking through 2 inch thick roots.

Nachdem ich zuvor mit anderen Gartenwerkzeugen ewig nicht voran gekommen bin, um unsere drei großen Bambusstöcke aus dem Garten zu entfernen und die Werkzeuge daran zerbrochen sind, hat es dieser Spaten innerhalb kürzester Zeit geschafft. Ich bin schwer beeindruckt und sehr happy über meinen Kauf. Ich kann es zu 100% weiterempfehlen
