The Robelle Super Winter Pool Cover features a heavy-duty 8 x 8 scrim. The heavy-duty polyethylene material used for this cover weighs 2.36 oz./yd2. Both the scrim count and material weight are the best indicators of the strength and durability for your pool cover. This is a heavy-duty pool cover designed to protect your pool from the winter elements. The Robelle Super Winter Pool Cover features an imperial blue topside and a black underside. Please order by your pool size, as the overlap goes beyond the pool size listed. This cover includes a four-foot overlap. If you have a very large top rail, please consider a larger pool size. This cover should be able to comfortably float on the pool water without excessive stress. This cover is not meant to be used as a debris cover during the swimming season. This winter pool cover is intended to be used during the off-season. This cover is meant for traditional above ground pools with a traditional top rail. Includes a winch and cable that should be used to secure your pool cover through the grommets around the perimeter of the pool cover. For extra securing, cover clips and cover wrap (both sold separately) are suggested for pool closing. No other method of installation is recommended..

I live in Ohio, and I buy this cover to close my pool each year. I never have any issues with ripping or holes. However, I did try to reuse it once after a previous season (six months) of use, and it ripped pretty easily when I tried to stretch it across the (21 ft) pool. So I bought a new one. Well worth it, to have reliable protection for your pool each season.

Bought this in Sept 2020 and is finally starting to show a little wear. It appears to be getting a little thin close to the edge, likely from the stress of being pulled around the pool edge. It doesn't have any holes that I can see though. I've never had a cover last more than 2 years before this one. Debating whether I should try for a 5th year or go ahead and buy another. I purchased the "premium" one which could be why it lasted longer. We also haven't had a very snowy winter the last few years in Southern PA.

Nice quality and exactly what we needed. They sent us one that is way too large though and not the size we ordered. We did not realize this until it was on. Tried to contact company and Amazon in regards too in order to get the right size sent and no luck.

So I've waited to write a review until I had used it for a while. This cover fit my 27' pool great, and has been holding up to the crazy winds here with no problems. I would buy with confidence.

I purchased the Ultimate pool cover that had a 20 year warranty. It was supposedly a "premium" grade product that was supposed to be the highest rated cover. I figured anytime you buy a product like this it will likely not last a full 20 years, but was hoping to get 5-10 years of functionality out of the product.Unfortunately, my expectations were still too WAY high. After following the instructions that came with the cover, it seemed great. Putting it on and securing it was easy. However, in less than one winter, my cover had multiple holes and tears in the cover. And because the tears were not along a seam, I was informed that it is not covered with the warranty. I was told that this considered normal wear and tear. I understand small holes will happen on occasion, but I had multiple holes big enough to put a fist though. The one pictured is multiple feet long. If this is "normal wear and tear" I guess I do not understand the purpose of purchasing a cover with a 20 year warranty. There is no way it will last that long.In the end, I am extremely disappointed in the cover quality and the service when trying to file a warranty claim. If the quality of the product is low enough that it will not last one full winter, I cannot recommend that anyone should purchase this cover.Recommendation: Do Not Buy

I ordered this cover for my 24 ft round pool. I find myself buying a cover every year because even the most expensive covers end up ripping against the pool over the windy winter.This cover was plenty large enough to come down on the sides and went on easily.Once on, however, I discovered a seam that was not heat sealed, and I had an 11 inch hole in the cover. I put duct tape on it, but I don’t think it will hold.I certainly did not expect to have a “holey†cover right out of the box!Too late to return it. I hope I get through the winter.Apparently, the company doesn’t inspect their product very well.

*****NOT MADE IN CHINA*****This cover is made in Vietnam, which based on my initial view is a big plus. I have seen a lot of crappy covers over the past 21 years, and so far I am very happy with this one. This cover is by far the most generous in size of any cover I have ever owned. Most of the time they barely fit over the edge of the top rail. This one provides substantial overhang. In years past I have had quality control issues with grommets being bent, missing, out of alignment, or improperly spaced. Everything with this one is perfect.A little note about warranties in general for those who hold them in high regard. Having had a pool for the past 21 years I have come to recognize these so called 10 or 15 year warranties is nothing more than a flat out lie. Once I had a cover split apart along the main center seam after an arduous week of use. That particular seller would not accept a picture, but instead wanted me to repackage their garbage and mail it to them. All of which would cost roughly as much as a new cover. As such, I have no expectation whatsoever that I'll be able to collect on a warranty let alone get more than 2 years, 3 if I'm really lucky, out of any cover. The winters here in central New York are just too brutal. So I base my review on my initial findings with the cover. If it fails to make the 2nd year I'll downgrade the review. If it makes it beyond the 3rd year I'll also note that as well. Also I don't bother with the center pillow float anymore either. The foolish things deflate halfway through the winter and never provide any benefit.***************************************FINAL UPDATE DECEMBER 10, 2018*******************************************************After the 2nd winter I noticed some areas had thinned. This is the 3rd winter and almost immediately one of those areas ripped apart. Overall, I feel it was still a very good cover compared to other ones I've had over the years.

Was worried about quality but it’s decent and should last some time, enough to make it well worth the money. Was easy to install and no issues with the wire tensioner like others had and I cranked it tight! Size is perfect too.
