I installed this replacement and it worked like a charm--- for about 3 weeks. Then, the product failed. A second was installed and again, worked as designed, though its durability is questionable. My research and inquiries have led me to believe that it may not be specific to the Robertshaw, rather, the nature of this product requires replacement that varies from a few months to perhaps a couple years. The ORIGINAL Robertshaw Thermocouple (12 years old) was built to last-- It worked for 5 years. The recent versions do not evidence the same build quality and clearly do not offer the same length of service, as this is my 4th Robertshaw installation in 5 years.

I can't yet comment on the durability of the thermocouple I received today but I can comment on the fact that the one I received where not in Robertshaw branded packaging as previous ones were. I'm not sure whether I received authentic factory parts that are advertised in the or a knock-off. I've attached an image of the Robertshaw packaging from a prior order and an image of the one I just received.I'm giving it a 3 star rating that will be revised once I see how durable these are and once I see how they fit.

Easy tin install just be careful as with any copper of kinking during installation
