Adjustable design ensures accuracy - simply twist the thermometer face to a known temperature to calibrate (32F ice water works well) while holding the 10 mm nut at the base of the dial with a wrench. Probably works adequately but the face of the gage is really small an inexplicably, housed underneath a convex piece of glass. Almost like someone was trying to make this hard to read. Would not buy again. Took something simple and made it complicated.

I bought it without realizing it was in centigrade. Went back and bought one in Fahrenheit but kept this one since it was my fault that I ordered the wrong thermo.

Fit well into a car vent for measuring AC teperature. Gauge is small and sometimes hard to read

My thermometer was 8 degrees off when I received it. but it's easy enough to calibrate with ice water and a 10mm deep socket.
