I ordered these pullies based on the description and positive reviews. Knowing they were probably made outside the US my expectations were not very high, so I ordered pulleys at a higher rating than I really needed just in case. When I received them today, I was astounded at the finish and quality of these units. They are constructed of polished stainless steel and feel very stout. Although I haven't used them yet, I can tell they are rated conservatively and might actually be overkill for my project. At this price I will likely order more for future projects. Highly recommend.

Like other reviewers have stated, these jam up under the slightest of loads - 5 to 10 pounds was enough to where they completely seize up. The pins are made out of a rolled steel which is slightly out of round (and has a seam), so even with some graphite they are just useless for their intended purpose.The design of the slightly more expensive pulleys you can buy at a hardware store is just better all around. These aren't useful, even as a toy. I believe people using these successfully are using paracord or equivalent slippery rope, which is sliding over the smooth surface of the pulley - it SEEMS like it's working but if you connect two or more you'll realize the friction loss is terrible.

Purchased these pulleys to be able to hoist a trainset up to the ceiling in my workshop to get it out of the way when not in use. Everything looks like good quality and have had no issues. Everything works smoothly.

Good price and even with a slot cut out to slip rope in it was still plenty strong to pull 2 prawn traps (after welding a bottom on to connect the 2 sides)

These stainless steel rope pulleys are just what I was hoping for. It is excellent quality and I used them outdoors, so they will not rust, huge bonus and great price.

Good clearance at the sides of the sheave unlike others I have tried which have too much clearance. Sheave rotates freely on the pin without too much play. (Unlike others I have tried which have sheaves that wobble on the pins.)

They fail. Not all of them, but enough... And then I need to go through the whole rig and swap out the broken one. The Axel or whatever mechanism allows the wheel to spin are widely different quality between each of them. Some hold the weight rating, others fail at 25lbs. Really really disappointed and hopping for a refund.
