The opening is big and it the cave itself does not smell like chemicals. Nice painting, it looks real. My hermit crab loves it. It is heavy.

Bought this as a hideway/shade for my Russian tortoises who are getting too big for their baby-size dens. I like how high and wide it is, but could be a little longer and deeper so they feel safer. Overall happy with purchase.
